Bogna Czechowska
Polish painter, illustrator, sculptor, author of educational programs.
In 1988 she graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. She studied painting in the studio of professor Jacek Sempoliński, textiles under professor Wojciech Sadley. She took part in dozens of collective and individual exhibitions. She has written several educational programs for children, teenagers and adults. She is the founder of the “Słoneczna Akademia” Foundation, dealing with the organization of artistic workshops for children with a difficult start in life, children with oncology (Children’s Health Center in Międzylesie), and from special schools.
Most of the painting works created by Bogna Czechowska use her own original mixed technique, in which oil pastels are the main tool. She also paints with oil and watercolors. In addition, she has many pen illustrations in her portfolio. The artist’s oeuvre is both abstract and more literal.
